Skills Training

The Myers-Davis Life Skills Training Center is tailored to individuals with disabilities to help them succeed at the top of their abilities. The Skills Training Center teaches things ranging from functional math (budgeting, telling time, ordering at a restaurant, grocery shopping) to basic cooking and safe food handling to interpersonal communication, to workplace etiquette. The goal of the Life Skills training program is to ready individuals to live their lives as autonomously as possible.

The Life Skills Training Center also offers job training to ready the individual to join the workforce and continuing job coaching once we have helped them in finding job placement opportunities.
